The company promises to ensure your online privacy by hiding your online activities, as well as allowing you to bypass geo-restrictions and allow for smooth streaming. We’re talking about a very popular free service that started its career back in 2016, so it has plenty of experience so far. However, since we do what we do – and that’s cyber security – we’re going to analyze its VPN service and see how good it actually is. For the start of my iTop VPN review for 2023, I’ll mention that the company offers a variety of services and apps which go far beyond securing your traffic and ensuring your online privacy. And, I will be happy to be corrected, if not.ITop is an interesting VPN provider that seemingly offers a lot to look forward to. So, whether it is paddle, their biller, or the company iTopVPN contracting with them, I am not sure. At least, not to my experience, and opinion. So, this appears to not be an isolated case. Luckily, I was able to run them to ground, and not get charged (I think). Again, in my email folder, I have repeated false "charges" sent to me via paddle. But, it looks like I had subscriptions from them also. I am sure I will hear from iTop if it isnt. Apparently, they also run a company called Advanced System Repair I do not know if it is the same company, and this is their VPN product. I appreciate the fact they gave me some extra time to work out any differences, but there is no reason to have to send 10 different emails, telling me to go to a bot, then the bot telling me to go back to paddle, etc. Why? for doing what they could have done days ago? The best I can say about them is if I ever needed or wanted a VPN, what I saw of it, it seems better then whats out there but, I truly think they need to streamline their business practice about Refunds. So, I changed my rating from 1 to 3, because they finally refunded both my accounts, and in rapid order, but only after posting here which then they want me to "edit my response". Of course, that is, because I "did not want to cooperate" As I told them, I do not know how to take a screenshot, and what would I take a screenshot of, if I simply do not want the product after all the nonesense. total nightmare experience (actually, I now have a total of 11 before they finally sent me two emails, refunding me both accounts.) - EDIT: At last, and only until, I had to raise the roof, and, unfortanately publish this, did I Finally did get both refunds. I then get like 5 emails, from bot to paddle, and back, telling you they have to inform the other. As much as I have pored over their paddle site, it is all very confusing to just get a refund. Then, they send me to allison (a bot?), who now (its a week later since I asked for my refund) they're still sending me back and forth.I gave them a (1) the one bot, at least just sent me a link, for a simple refund, after my explanation that I had been charged twice, receiving two licenses. I've received 5 or 6 emails from paddle, and kristian the bot, and each one refers me to the other. You better check your accounts when dealing with them, is all I can say. They just extending a "premium"use iTop use, and I just didnt want it period! They just answered with a nonsensical response like, "well, send us a screen shot of what you dont like about it" How can I do that? First off, taking a screenshot has nothing to do with anything, because that was not the issue. They did not even address my concern over them charging me twice. How can I take a screenshot of a device I didnt order, and with their hammering me with emails, sending me all over the internet, and then not even addressing why I was not happy, is not a company that works for me. Now, I cannot get my money back, for a program I do not want, and do not use. It has a 90-day guarantee.but just try to get it! I was over charged by double charging, and maybe they were just hoping I would not notice. There is nothing wrong with the program, other then, like all vpns, it slowed down my connection.I did not want it and I certainly did not want two. The other, Allison, requesting an explanation as to what was wrong with the program, and to send a screen shot. One, the bot, issued me a link, for an instant refund. This, after repeated requests, less than 2 days after I realized the problem. They charged me twice for two different licenses, but only refunded one.
